Terms of Use

The service

Kessa is provided by Bytes & Pixels GmbH, Germany. By using the app you accept these terms and, where applicable, Apple's standard Licensed Application EULA.

What Kessa is — and isn't

Kessa is an assistant that helps your household keep its calendar, to-dos and routines in order. It proposes; you confirm. It can make mistakes — always check the card before you confirm it, and don't rely on Kessa as the only record of anything important (a medical appointment, a flight, a pickup).

Your household

A household is shared between the adults you invite. Everyone in it can see and change the household's events, to-dos, routines and the assistant's log. Only invite people you trust with that. You are responsible for what you enter about other people, including children.

Subscriptions

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through your Apple ID and shared by the whole household. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage or cancel it in your App Store subscription settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. The free plan includes a limited number of assistant requests.

Acceptable use

Don't use Kessa for anything illegal, to harass anyone, or to try to access another household's data. Don't attempt to overload or reverse-engineer the service.

Your content

What you enter stays yours. You grant us the licence needed to store it, show it to your household and process it with our providers to run the service (see the Privacy Policy).

Termination

You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Liability

Kessa is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed appointments or other losses arising from reminders that did not fire, clashes that were not detected, or mistakes in what the assistant proposed. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

Governing law

German law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in.
